Poetry Workshop

On Friday 22nd January the children and teachers at Crosslee Primary experienced an amazing opportunity. Poet Matt Goodfellow came into our school and delivered two poetry assemblies; one for the children in KS2 and the other for Early Years and KS1 children.

Matt recited poems with actions, used props and even told us poems about his family. The children were actively involved and loved every minute of it.

Matt spent the day in our school, delivering poetry workshops to some classes and even meeting the dads, grandads and uncles in our new school library.
