Early Years Curriculum Intent     

At Crosslee Community Primary School our EYFS curriculum aims to provide opportunities for our children to develop as independent, confident, successful learners with high aspirations who know how to make a positive contribution to their community and wider society. Our goal is to ensure that all children are happy and engaged.

The curriculum in Early Years is designed to provide a language rich, broad and balanced education that meets the needs of all pupils. It facilitates them to gain the skills, knowledge and understanding, as they start out on their educational journey, supporting them to progress from their individual starting points and preparing them for the next stage of their education.

Things to remember: 

Start and Finish Time:

Nursery starts at 9am and finishes at 3pm. Please help us reach our attendance target of 97% by attending school everyday and on time. All absences need to be reported to the school office on the day of each absence. 

Attendance Rewards:

Each week we have a class winner for the higest attendance in school and individual winners for 100% attendance. Each half term children can receive an attendance certificate and badge for attendance of 97% and above. The children also have the opportunity to receive a termly attendance treat.  

Library books

Our book changing day is a MONDAY. Book bags can be purchased from the school office.

Please see a member of the Nursery staff if you are struggling to gain access to class dojo. We share lots of information and photos of your child's day so we do not want you to miss out!
