Cave painting art workshop

We had such an amazing day with artist Sarah Hicks. We began by turning out the lights and sketched prehistoric animals under the tables. We experienced how difficult it would have been to work in dark, cramped conditions. We then made our own paint by mixing mud (after taking out the worms) we cheated a little using powdered paint instead of mixing in beetles, berries and ground up stones. We then created realistic cave paintings. The finished results were amazing.
