MUFC in our playground!

Autumn term 1 gave Year 2 children a fantastic opportunity.  They improved their football skills each week with MUFC professional coaches.  The coaches arrived in their training van and the children were able to use the special equipment provided.

This helped them to gain better ball control and they played some great 5 a side games in teams.  They showed they are good sports by cheering each other on.

One of our pupils, Vit, was noticed by the coaches for his talents and he has been invited to an extra training day with Manchester United at The Cliff.  This is the training ground used by the professional players!

We are very proud as the coaches loved teaching the children and said they were a 'delight' - well done year 2!

The children and teachers said they thought the sessions were really great fun and they all learnt new skills each week.  What a great PE lesson and way to move!
