Quick thinking needed at the Co-operative Academy!
On Wednesday, children from year 6 set off to The Co-operative Academy to test their thinking skills. Crosslee had been invited to take part in a quiz where the children participated in a variety of challenges - their physical, literacy, logic and general knowledge skills were all needed.
The team showed excellent co-operation and support. They kept their calm when the competition was in the final stages. In fact, the children worked so well together that the judges selected them for the 'team values' award and we came back to school with a solar-powered robot to build as our prize!
It was great to see some of the children from Crosslee who are now in year 7 at The Co-operative helping to organise the event.
Thank you to our Crosslee teams and well done!
