Real Love Rocks Year 5 and 6

Year 5 and 6 will be starting the Real love Rocks programme next week. This primary resource pack has been developed by children's charity Barnados and is an interactive tool to help talk to children in an age apporpiate way about relationships and keeping safe. The resource uses lots of games, crafts, activities and animations to help children think and be aware of risks now, and in the future. The programme will be delivered by your child's class teacher.

The children will be focussing on 'Healthy Relationships' and 'Keeping Safe'. The 'Health Relationships' section covers what relationships are and what makes a happy, safe and fair relationship. The 'Keeping Safe' section covers how to stay safe, especially as they begin to increase their independence and, for Year 6, their transition to high school. It offers 'Keeping Safe' tips to the children.
