We learn from the best - Team England Netball!

What a way to start the week! A motivational assembly and netball taster session for our netball team.  Laura Malcolm kindly visited our school after meeting us at the Manchester Sports Awards.  

The assembly was fascinating.  We heard about her achievements in netball - Laura has played for Team England over 20 times! The children asked some very thoughtful questions and it was interesting to discover who her role models are.  Laura told us that she is always nervous before a match - just like us! 

We thought about what success is and Laura shared an important message about how getting somewhere is all about the journey! We agree!

Thank you so much for coming Laura - we loved meeting you and the coaching session really challenged us.  It was fun!
