Behaviour information

At our school, we use a restorative approach to behaviour, focusing on helping pupils learn from their actions and strengthen their relationships with others. Following an incident, staff engage the pupil in a reflective conversation built around three key steps: Explain, Identify and Repair. Pupils are encouraged to explain what happened from their perspective, identify the impact of their choices on themselves and others, and repair the situation by considering positive actions they can take moving forward. This approach supports accountability, empathy and personal growth, creating a calm, respectful and inclusive school community.
